The Vikings opened on a 28-4 run and never looked back in a game that was played with a running clock for the entire second half.
Ella Jones led all players with 17 points. AK Chance scored 11 points, while Tristan Shivers finished with 10 points, nine assists, and five steals.
Hoggard (10-1) came up with 15 steals.
Natanya Chando had six points for Ballantyne Ridge (6-6).
No. 6 Topsail 51, Mount Tabor 39

After being held to just 11 points in the first half, the Pirates looked like a totally different team in the third and fourth quarters.
A putback from Charley Moore gave Topsail (8-3) a 28-27 lead late in the third quarter. The Pirates wouldn’t trail again.
Ava Kita led all players with 23 points. The sophomore standout went 7 of 9 from the free throw line. Moore scored 11 points.
Mount Tabor’s (1-9) top performance came from Nkiruka Hemmingway, who had 14 points.
East Duplin 49, No. 7 Ashley 45

Four players reached double figures for the Panthers, who secured a hard-fought win despite going 4 of 10 from the free throw line in the fourth quarter.
The balanced offensive attack was led by Andraia Scarborough’s 13 points. East Duplin (6-2) also got 12 points apiece from Kinsey Cave and Lorena Rodriguez as well as 10 from Zakoya Farrior.
Ashley’s (8-4) Jakicey Gardner tied her career-high with 27 points. She made four 3-pointers. Reagan Norris added 12 points.
Wakefield 54, No. 3 New Hanover 43

The defending 4A East champions bounced back from Saturday’s defeat by scoring 35 points in the middle two quarters to pull away.
Wakefield’s (4-7) Nikki Amend had a solid night by scoring 17 points. Quinnlin Pope added 10 points, while Blythe Ruff had nine on three 3-pointers.
Jazziyah Smith finished with 18 points for New Hanover (5-2).
Porter Ridge 62, No. 2 Laney 41

Drexel commit Miley Malcolm connected on five 3-pointers and led all scorers with 17 points.
Porter Ridge (11-1) built a 35-16 halftime lead and was never threatened over the final 16 minutes. Ashanti Taylor added 14 points, while Kali Williams finished with 13.
Sophomore Sofia Clayton paced Laney (6-4) with 14 points. Julia Pepper joined her in double figures with 10.
James Kenan 58, Jacksonville 57

The Tigers completed an incredible comeback by getting a layup from Y’anna Rivers with one second remaining.
James Kenan (5-1) trailed 49-35 after three quarters. Rivers was dominant down the stretch, scoring 14 of her 18 points over the final eight minutes.
Aleyah Wilson led the Tigers with 26 points and six rebounds.
Jacksonville (6-4) got 15 points apiece from junior guards Destini Benton and Izabella Hernandez.
