2026 Boys Lacrosse Co-Player of the Year: Jackson Burgee

Now that the spring sports season has come to a close, it’s time to reveal the All-Coastal Preps teams. Over the next week, you will get to know more about the players of the year while also seeing who made first and second team in boys golf, boys tennis, boys and girls lacrosse, boys and girls track & field, girls soccer, softball, and baseball.

The Coastal Preps Boys Lacrosse Co-Player of the Year is senior Jackson Burgee from Hoggard.

Jackson’s Accomplishments

When he arrived on campus in 2022, Jackson Burgee made an immediate impact on the Hoggard lacrosse program. Over the course of his four years, he cemented his place as one of the best players to ever put on a Vikings uniform. 

As a senior, Burgee led all area players with 128 points by scoring 56 goals and handing out 72 assists. He also tied for third on the team in ground balls with 68. 

Hoggard claimed the Carolina Coast Conference title by going 13-1, and ended the greatest season in school history with a record of 18-3 and a first-ever trip to the state championship game. 

Burgee set a career high for points with 12 (five goals and seven assists) in a 23-1 victory over West Brunswick on April 21. The Embry-Riddle signee finished with five or more points in 14 games. 

Over the course of his career, Burgee scored 165 goals and dished out 200 assists.
