Quinlan Keefe (Manhattan, N.Y.) completed the scoring with a grand slam to right field.

The big inning began with a one-out walk to Brock Polilli (Tiffin, Ohio). Back-to-back singles from Drew Nye (Highland CC, Kan.) and Will Jones (WCA) loaded the bases.

Trey Pierce (Brunswick CC/WCA) worked a seven-pitch walk to tie the score at 1-1. Nye scored what turned out to be the winning run on another walk, this time to Ryan Seagroves (Brunswick CC).

Julian King (St. Maarten) singled home another run. The lead grew to 5-1 following consecutive walks to Dylan Stacks (North Brunswick) and Jack Cuba (Catawba/New Hanover).

Cuba and Jones both finished 2-for-3.
